Técnicas Reunidas improves its Sustainalytics rating

Técnicas Reunidas has experienced a significant improvement in its evaluation by Sustainalytics, the entity specializing in sustainability ratings for listed companies. The evaluation covers all areas of ESG, i.e. environmental, social and corporate governance.

It is important to highlight the particularity of Sustainalytics, which operates under the premise that the lower the score, the higher the rating. In this sense, Técnicas Reunidas has achieved a score of 22.3 in 2023, representing an improvement with respect to the previous year, where it obtained 24.3 in 2022.

This rating positions Técnicas Reunidas with a low risk compared to the other 104 companies analyzed in the same sector. At an overall level, the company’s risk is estimated as medium due to the general exposure of its sector.

Sustainalytics’ ESG risk assessment of Técnicas Reunidas considers the company’s exposure to these risks and evaluates their management. In this regard, exposure has been rated as “medium”, while management, which includes ESG programs, practices and policies, has been classified as “solid”. This recognition supports the effective management of Técnicas Reunidas in sustainability matters according to Sustainalytics standards.
