Clean air is one of the key objectives in the work of Técnicas Reunidas

This September 9th at Técnicas Reunidas we join in celebrating the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies, highlighting the importance of clean air for our health and the environment. At Técnicas Reunidas, this day resonates with our commitment to sustainability and compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

At Técnicas Reunidas, we believe that the transition to clean energy sources is a vital solution for improving air quality, in alignment with SDG 7: “Affordable and Non-polluting Energy”. To this end, we have integrated new technologies into our projects that reduce our carbon footprint and minimize emissions of air pollutants. These technologies allow us to meet our sustainability goals and ensure a cleaner and more affordable energy supply for the communities where we operate.

Innovation and the development of sustainable infrastructures are key pillars of our strategy. In line with SDG 9, we are committed to the design and construction of industrial infrastructures that are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. 

In our effort to meet SDG 13: “Climate Action”, we have implemented a series of initiatives to mitigate climate change. This includes the adoption of advanced technologies for carbon capture and storage, as well as reforestation and waste management programs that help reduce our carbon footprint. In addition, we work closely with local communities and authorities to promote sustainable practices that protect the environment and thus improve air quality.
